Please go to http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/waterskiutah/ and join the new group. This group was started by the Utah Water Ski Club, but is open to anyone interested in sharing water ski information going on in,Utah. The group is NOT to be used for official Utah Water Ski Club business and will be moderated so you will not get spam! To join the group you will need a Yahoo ID and password, but you can have messages sent to any e-mail address, or set it up so you never get messages but can still read them.
- When skiing course #1 and #3 please be aware of rollers when entering and exiting the course. Please do not drive through the reed line on the north side of the course #3. The reeds are all ready thinned out to the point where they are not protecting the course very well and we don't want to make it worse. For a map of the best way to enter and exit course #3, click here. The yellow area is where you should go wake less. Right now course #3 is about 7' deep and each buoy has an extension on it so to replace a buoy you will only need to go down about 3' feet to the extension.
- If you are not comfortable with how to properly replace a buoy in the slalom course you should contact Keith Morgan, Tim Peterson, or Mark Chilcutt and have them show you how. Remember if you show up at the course and buoys are missing you are obligated to install new buoys BEFORE you ski even if you don't mind the missing buoys. Also, please make sure the course it set up completely when you leave.
